AN ELECTRIC TRICYCLE (keke napep) MADE IN NIGERIA UNVEILED
New life and business opportunity is available in Nigeria as an Igbo man that resides in Aba named Ifeanyi Okafor.
Who hails from a town called Umuchu, Anambra state, successfully manufactured an electric tricycle in Nigeria.
The manufacturer, Ifeanyi Okafor graduated from University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
He explains what propelled him into the project.
He said, “it began in 2015, during the fuel scarcity era that hit country in May/June.
The situation then, held people to ransom. This made him to research and to design a prototype which will run on electricity rather than fuel.
Okafor do lease out tricycles(keke napeps) to drivers who he said, they usually complain often of fuel scarcity affecting their business.
These propelled Okafor on a search for alternative means of energy to power the tricycle (keke napep).
Okafor contracted an electrician, when the designed was ready and he invited other artisans to help him achieve is dreams. (Aim and objective)

This mode of electrical energy help to cut down the atmospheric pollution. THE GLOBAL VISION
The tricycle (keke napep) is one of the transportation means for millions of Nigeria across the country because it is efficient and affordable.
The global vision is to strive for cleaner energy to replace the polluted ones and to power the vehicles which Ifeanyi key into the idea and develop an electric tricycle for Nigerians.
